Entry #137: Holidays, North Korea Style!

Noteworthy article from the Economist: "Where in the free world can one see 10,000 children dancing in synchronisation, dressed as eggs?"

pssst: Don't tell Kim Jong Il, but these cuties aren't in synch? Particularly B2.

Entry #136: Museum of Broken Relationships

"A traveling exhibition based on broken relationships has arrived in Berlin where it is proving to be popular.

Aptly named The Museum of Broken Relationships, it asks people in each city it comes to, to donate memorabilia of their terminated relationships, from brief flings to long painful divorces.

Donors are asked to include a short description of what the object means to them, the time of the relationship, and where they are from.

...

The idea came when two Zagreb-based artists Olinka Vistica and Drazen Grubisic split up and wanted to do something creative with what they were going through.

After Berlin, the museum travels to Belgrade, Skopje and Stockholm. Plans are in the pipeline to take it to New York, Tokyo and Sao Paulo."

Website here.

I should post my own person Museum of Broken Relationships. Can they include friends and the like? I think it is only fair. Some are fascinating, others are sad.. and just downright funny. How about museum of broken dreams? Now I'm just getting downright depressing and we can't have that now can we?
